The road out front gets a lot of traffic, so in summer, when you need the windows open, I'd ask for a room at the back. Our room was basic, but clean, with a TV and fans. Breakfast was generous, and the service was super friendly and attentive, with coffee refills and all that. I'd call it a really good two-star hotel, nearly a three-star one. The booking itself was chaotic: I never got a confirmation, and no one spoke anything except French. Somehow, though, it all worked out beautifully.

I picked the place thinking it would be by the lake, with a view in the morning, but that wasn't the case. And honestly, Grandson has nothing for visitors. The room was very cheap, and everything seemed to have been bought as cheaply as possible. It was a very disappointing stay. The only thing that kept my rating from being lower than two stars was the charming, very helpful woman at reception.

A nice option for a couple of days. The rooms are always clean, and the prices are interesting :)

We were a big family group, 12 of us plus four toddlers, and the manager made dinner easy for us. She first said there was room downstairs in the bar. By the time we arrived, she'd moved the other guests out of the downstairs dining room, so we had its comfortable armchairs and the whole room to ourselves. The food was excellent, and the children had space to move around. Breakfast was good and relaxed too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel itself is simple, with charming modern updates, and our room was spotless. I'd absolutely recommend it as a simple hotel.

The room was very clean, and the game dinner was excellent. Carine was fabulous, working incredibly hard on her own as a waitress and still keeping her smile. Another waitress greeted us with a warm smile too, even when we were working together. Congratulations.
