It was hard to leave Edith's home in Burglauenen. The peaceful setting and lovely scenery made for a wonderful family stay, and Edith was helpful with good suggestions about the area. I hope I can return one day to run the Eiger trail. I'd recommend her home to friends and family planning to visit Switzerland.

We were glad we chose this apartment. It's clean, well located, and comfortably spacious for a family of four. Edith was very kind with her suggestions for things to do in the area, and the family running the place is wonderful. We had a lovely time.

After a month of travel, the chance to settle down and relax before several more weeks of touring meant a lot to us. Edith and Bruno, along with Svena and Loris, made that possible with the friendliest hospitality we've experienced. Edith went out of her way to explain what the region offered and understood how much we wanted to experience traditional Swiss culture. We didn't want a hotel in one of the tourist towns, and this homestay gave us privacy, a family setting, a traditional Swiss experience, beautiful views, and access to all the things to do. We even took the train to Jungfraujoch, which was quite an experience. We spent six nights with them in late April and early May, and it was the most enjoyable homestay we've had in five trips to Europe. The apartment below the family home is spacious, clean, comfortable, beautifully arranged, and very well equipped. The new bathroom has the best shower we've had on any overseas trip. From the apartment we could see green fields, a huge mountain, and a waterfall that kept changing. Burglauenen station is nearby, and Grindelwald is a short drive away, so it feels like a country stay while remaining accessible to Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen. We can't recommend staying with Edith and Bruno highly enough. Five stars doesn't do it justice. We'll remember them and our time there for a long, long time.

We had a great stay in this apartment. It was clean and had a really nice view, and the family was lovely, especially Edith, who was very helpful. I'll stay here again next time I visit.
