Apartment Bärhag - Griwa Rent AG

The apartment was close to the main street, a spacious, bright Co-op supermarket, and a nice garage. Griwa Rent was convenient to deal with and quick to respond. Three years ago I rented Alpin, and it was very good. This time I rented Barhag, and for the high price the accommodation was only average. It was somewhat clean, but the bathrooms, kitchen, and sofas were all old and worn out, as if they'd been misused. The Wi-Fi shut off around 10 or 11 PM and came back in the morning. When I asked, they said the owner was responsible, which seemed strange. Maybe he wants to adjust our sleep schedule.

The balcony photos really don’t capture how lovely this apartment is. It’s in a building where Swiss residents live, and it’s kept in great shape with everything you need apart from an iron and bathroom slippers. There’s a private parking spot and a little garden outside with somewhere to sit. You collect the key at the Interhome office, where they show you how to get to the apartment. For Switzerland, where prices are very high, it feels well worth the cost.

Getting around was easy, with the train station and village center about five minutes away and excellent shopping nearby. The apartment itself was clean, modern, and tastefully furnished. But basic things like garbage bags, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies were left for guests to provide, and there was no ski boot dryer. At Christmas, the central heating was set poorly. Around 18 degrees Celsius was fine for us old Highlanders, but uncomfortable for the 7-month-old baby with us. Management didn’t take our complaints seriously.
