The views are amazing as soon as you step outside, and the accommodation was very clean with great amenities. It’s a five minute bus ride to skiing and a fifteen minute walk into town. The Top of Europe and the north face of the Eiger are must sees, both a short bus ride from the Eiger Express Gondola. Highly recommended!

You get beautiful views all around and the location is excellent. The property itself is okay and could use some work. The master bedroom bed isn’t comfortable, and it’s a bit expensive, though that’s expected in this location.

The Chalet Engi Team made the week easy and memorable, always around when we needed something, and we had a lot of fun using the sledges at Bussalp and Eiger. The chalet is a short 20 m from the bus stop for the new Terminal or First, with Bodmi about a 10-minute walk away. From there, we could ski down to the First gondola, and we were lucky to have enough snow for some ski-in fun. The place is dated, but well cared for and fully furnished with what we needed. We also loved the mountain views and the sunshine, unlike downtown Grindelwald, which is mostly shaded at this time of year. We had a beautiful week skiing here and hope to return soon.
