The host was nice, and the stay was good. The kitchenette was small, as I already knew, but it had everything we needed. The fridge didn't really work, so I kept food cool on the balcony, which was cold enough. I hadn't expected so much snow, and driving up the hill was a bit of a challenge.

The people were good, though the decor was very old.

The setting felt picturesque and very quiet, almost like the countryside. From Room 5 on what I think was the third floor, the Eiger view was amazing, and the terrace made it lovely to eat while looking out at it. The landlady was so kind, the house was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and the hot water worked well. We stayed three nights. It's a five-minute walk from Swendy Station, then five minutes by train to Grindelwald Terminal Station, so getting around was easy. They said dishwashing was available, but it wasn't, so I washed my clothes instead. The radiator was on at night, which helped them dry. There were quite a few bugs, too.

We had a lovely holiday here and would definitely come back. The apartment was cozy, had everything we needed, and the owner was very nice. It's just one train stop from the terminal, and the place was quiet with comfortable beds. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.
