Everyone at the hotel was helpful and really nice. It’s very central, close to the train station and to the gondola for Grindelwald First. We stayed two nights, and our room had a fantastic mountain view. It was clean and comfortable, the shower worked great, and breakfast was just right, with plenty of hot and cold foods to try. We loved staying here!

The spacious rooms and generous breakfast were great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The property is beautifully placed between the Grindelwald train station and the tram up to First, so you’re well positioned for adventure. We’d definitely come back.

Everything was beyond what I expected, and Antonia is the sweetest person on the staff, 100/10 for her! I just wish the rooms had air conditioning, because we got really hot during our stay.

The staff were warm, helpful, and professional, and breakfast was easily the best meal of our stay. The hotel itself was lovely too. Our bathroom was on the small side, but it didn’t cause us any trouble.

The views, especially of the Eiger North Face from a balcony room, are a big draw, and getting around is easy with the train station, cable cars, shops, and attractions nearby. Guests often praise the welcoming, attentive staff, along with clean, modern rooms and public areas. The spa and other facilities, including the gym and complimentary minibar, also get good feedback. Breakfast has plenty of fresh choices, and Barrys is often singled out for good food. Rooms can be spacious, with comfortable beds and balconies depending on the type. Guest scores are around 8.9 overall, with cleanliness and comfort at about 9.1-9.2, staff at 9.4, and location at 9.5. Value tends to be a little lower, around 8.2-8.3, though still rated well.
