We loved ending each busy day on the balcony, taking in the mountain scenery. The views around Grindlewald are incredible, and although the hotel sits a little farther out than some others, it’s worth it. A bus stop is right outside, and the hotel provides free travel during your stay, so getting into town is easy. Inside, the rooms are modern and beautiful, breakfast has loads of tasty options, and the staff are exceptionally warm, welcoming, and helpful. We had a wonderful stay.

The terrace was a highlight for us, so peaceful, with lovely views and delicious coffee. Our room also had a beautiful Eiger view from the balcony, and the rooms were excellent. Jan and the whole team were friendly, professional, and a pleasure to chat with. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

The room and outdoor dining area both had priceless views, and we enjoyed walking around the neighborhood, where we spotted cats, goats, and alpacas. Breakfast was excellent too, especially the sausage, watermelon, and milk. The dining room and lounge felt cozy and inviting. We stayed two nights and everything was excellent, five out of five.

The Mountain View room had spectacular mountain scenery, and the place had such a relaxed, cozy feel. Rooms are modern and updated, with comfortable beds, and breakfast was delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly, offering recommendations and calling restaurants to make reservations. They were also very accommodating about a gluten allergy at breakfast. I’d absolutely stay here whenever I’m in Grindelwald.

We’re already planning a summer visit, and we’ll definitely come back. The hotel has a special place in our hearts after such a wonderful trip. Getting around was easy without a car, with buses running frequently outside and a little farther down the road. We also walked down the hill a few times, though it’s very steep and not for the faint hearted. The staff made the stay especially lovely. They booked us a fantastic meal at Barry’s in town when we asked for recommendations, and helped when my adapter plug didn’t work. We liked stopping in the lounge and honesty bar for a drink before dinner, and the honesty bar was handy when we arrived at 4pm and wanted a drink to enjoy on the patio with those gorgeous views. Our room was gorgeous and stocked with everything we needed, including shampoo, conditioner, moisturisers, and slippers. Breakfast was 10/10 every day, and we loved having coffee in front of the mountains before heading out. Thank you for everything ❤️
