Hotel Belvedere Grindelwald

The staff made our family feel so welcome, and their professionalism and kindness really stood out. We loved everything, especially the pool and whirlpool with those amazing views. We even extended our stay because it was so memorable. This is how a hotel should be run. Almadhi family

This was our second stay, and we enjoyed it just as much as the first. The receptionists were especially welcoming and made everything feel easy. Our room was comfortable, the food was delicious, and the facilities were excellent. We loved the view too. The whole team was attentive and professional, and we’d happily recommend the hotel to anyone after a relaxing, memorable stay.

We really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the local honey and cheese, and dinner at the hotel was great too. The meat fondue was delicious. There’s also a game room downstairs with a lovely view. We stayed four nights in mid May, when it was fairly quiet. Our room had a stunning Eiger view and was clean and spacious enough for the three of us. The staff were friendly, and the owner left us a handwritten note along with a few little snacks. We booked breakfast with the room and would definitely recommend staying here.

I loved how personal the family run feel was, it made the stay feel much more authentic than a chain hotel. The staff paid attention to every detail, from the shuttle rides to the Terminal in the morning to the nutty chocolates left in our room. My room had an unmatched Eiger view, and I enjoyed the themed dinners each evening and the huge breakfast buffet. The spa was great after a day skiing or taking out the sledges provided by Belvedere, with two hot tubs, a dry sauna, a steam room, and a traditional sauna. Belvedere is now one of my favorite hotels, and I’d put it at the top of my list for a return to Grindelwald.
