The room was clean, but it smelled musty, the TV didn't work, and there was no fridge. The view was nice, and the English-speaking staff were helpful. The location in Grindelwald was good, near the bus stop and Jungfraujoch. For the price, I'd call it average.

The room had great views, and staying at this centrally located hotel was a great experience. Mr Faizal, the manager, and the team were very friendly and helpful.

Our west-facing room got extremely hot in the afternoon, almost like an oven, and there wasn't enough shade or any good way to cool it down. It also had only a thin, sheer white curtain. Once the sun came up at 5:30 AM, the room got very bright, and I found myself waking around 5 or 6 each day and couldn't get back to sleep.

The buffet breakfast was simple but complete, and we enjoyed it a lot. The room felt cozy while still being spacious, and having a hair dryer was especially important to me. We had some trouble unlocking the doors because they were a little stiff. Also, the walk between the hotel and the bus stop is quite steep.

Even though I was only there for one night, the staff made me feel valued. They were so welcoming and attentive, and check-in was smooth and efficient. I also loved the peaceful view from my window. Breakfast was delicious, with a good range of buffet choices. I'd highly recommend it.
