Spillstatthus

We’ve been to Grindelwald four times, and this was easily our best apartment stay. Spillstatthus was perfect for our family of six, with lovely views and a peaceful, spotless apartment that had everything we needed. Even though it’s right by the train line, we couldn’t hear the trains with the windows closed. After long days out exploring, it was a great place to unwind. Getting around was easy too, with the station and public transport just a short walk away. Michèle was always available and incredibly helpful, from sharing local tips to printing our Swiss passes. We’re sure to return to our favorite holiday spot and stay at Spillstatthus again.

We had a perfect week in the five-person room in July. The terrace was a highlight, with a stunning view and even stars visible early in the morning. Inside, there was plenty of space and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Michèle welcomed us warmly and explained how to use the chalet. It’s conveniently close to Grindelwald Station and a Coop supermarket. I highly recommend staying here.

The view of Eiger from Apt Alpengluhen was so striking, it felt like looking at a huge painting. The apartment was very clean and roomy, and we could walk to the Coop, train station, and restaurants. Michele was a big help, and we could do laundry there too. She even provided a drying rack.

We were there at the end of August 2025, staying in a two-bedroom unit. The views of grindelwald and north face were beautiful, and the whole place was neat and very clean. The full kitchen and dining rm had everything we needed to cook. Michèle greeted us warmly and showed us how to use the appliances. It’s only a short walk to the train station, which made trips around the area easy. We’d definitely come back.
