We had a great stay with our toddler in a Superior room. It was spacious and had everything we needed, and the hotel is conveniently located. The person at reception was friendly and helpful. The rules are flexible too: if the room is free, you may be able to check in early, which is really nice. There's also a 10% discount at the souvenir shop and restaurant next door. The price to quality ratio seems pretty good for such a popular town.

We had a lovely Christmas stay in a spacious room with a great view, right in the middle of the gorgeous pedestrian town. The front desk staff were welcoming. The only problem was that reception isn't open around the clock. Our room heater control wasn't working, and we couldn't get hold of anyone to fix it. Everything else was great.

We spent Christmas in the Deluxe room with an in room Jacuzzi, which we enjoyed. The view of the alps from the room is amazing. A must stay in Gruyères!

The attic rooms are roomy and felt luxurious to us backpackers, and the hotel is perfectly placed in the town center. But the roof Windows are too small, and only two of Them open. It was 29 degrees when we arrived on a hot Day, and even after a night at 18 degrees with the Windows open, the room was still 29 degrees.

The room felt warm and cozy, and the staff were super polite and friendly. The hotel is right in the middle of the village, with a shop and restaurant offering hotel clients a 10% discount. It has the feel of an old building, but there is a lift. Toiletries like shampoo and conditioner would be useful, though there is a generic soap dispenser.
