Arc-en-Ciel Gstaad

Traveling alone with my dog, I felt safe, comfortable, and respected, and the location is so convenient, just a few steps from Eggli. Arc-en-Ciel is more than a hotel, it has a feeling of its own. From the moment I arrived, the staff's warmth, kindness, and natural attentiveness made me feel welcome. Everything felt calm, easy, and sincere. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. Thank you for making a place with real heart. I'll definitely come back.

The restaurant food was good, and the rest of the staff were very nice. I was impressed that they'd left a small stuffed animal as a gift for our toddler, who loved it. This was our second stay, and we'll be back. The rooms were incredibly clean, the location is great, and the staff were excellent, so I'd give the hotel five stars aside from the restaurant. We ate there three times. The manager seemed hectic and rather unfriendly. Even with a small toddler, as hotel guests with a reservation while the restaurant was still empty, he rolled his eyes when we asked for a small change. He also ran and slid through the restaurant to seat people while others were trying to enjoy a comfortable meal. If stress comes so easily, maybe restaurant manager isn't the right role.

The restaurant is delicious, especially the pizza, and the hotel is in a great spot, under ten minutes from the center of Gstaad and right by Eggli mountain. Our room had beautiful rustic decor, and the welcome at reception was warm. An excellent hotel in every way. Special thanks to Mr. Wael Alkhudair for his hospitality, professionalism, and ongoing support. His attention to detail and genuine care made our stay memorable.

Families are really well looked after here, and the children love the play spaces downstairs. My four-year-old nephew keeps saying, “I LOVE Arc En Ciel”. The children's menu has a good range and just the right amount of food. I especially like the goat cheese salad and consommé. The pizza, bolognese, and carbonara are pretty delicious too. Wonderful service!
