Carole manages the hotel with real skill, and our dog, the most important part of our family, was very welcome. The rooms were perfect, the restaurant was great, and breakfast was amazing. If you want to feel like you're with family, this is the place. Thanks to the whole team!

We came last winter and had a wonderful stay. The hotel sits higher than any other in Gstaad, so the views from Le Grand Chalet are the best in town. Getting around was easy with the free shuttle on demand. The staff have a happy, family-like feel and do all they can to make your stay great. The spa is small but well kept, and usually available if you book ahead. The restaurant was the best part for us. We ate a three-course meal there throughout our stay, and every dish was delicious. The chefs deserve a Michelin star. We'll definitely come back!

The staff were genuinely cheerful and helpful, and drove us around so we saved a lot on taxis. The rooms are large, with plenty of natural light and a big outdoor balcony. We first booked one night, then decided to stay three. We visited the bigger, fancier hotels too, but this one has a warm, homelike feel. It was our favourite stop on the trip across Switzerland. I highly recommend it, and will only stay here when we visit again.

I came back to the Grand Chalet in December. Time keeps passing for everyone, but this hotel still feels as it did many years ago. The welcome, kindness, and helpfulness of the staff are all still there. It's always a pleasure to return.
