It feels more like a shared Airbnb than a hotel. Tea was free, but coffee cost extra, which wasn’t clear to us from the photos when we booked. The bathroom itself was large and lovely, and the host was very friendly in a great location. But Booking.com said “private bathroom” without making clear that it wasn’t attached to the room. If you need to go in the middle of the night, you don’t know who you might run into on the way. That should have been stated clearly before booking.

Sandra was kind and helpful, and the stay at B3 Boutique-Bed&Breakfast was peaceful, with lovely scenery and nature nearby. The bathroom is next to the room. It’s handy for getting to Interlaken, with the Gsteigwiler, Dorf bus stop nearby. The last bus from Interlaken West is at 9:14 PM. A great choice for couples or families.

We spent most of our stay cycling and hiking, then came back to a spacious, relaxing room that was just right for resting. It’s a little outside town, so we rented bikes. We really enjoyed the visit.

The rooms feel wonderfully cozy and romantic for a couple. The location also works well for visiting Interlaken, Giessbach, Lauterbrunnen, and Grindelwald.

The owner was delightful, and the place is only a few minutes by car from Interlaken. We had a lovely stay and would happily recommend it.
