The rooms are pretty basic, but they're exceptionally clean and comfortable. It's a lovely, homely family-run restaurant, with wonderful views of Lake Thun and the mountains on a clear day. I've stayed here before and always love coming back when I visit Switzerland.

You'd be hard pressed to find a better view, and the place really lives up to its name. The staff were friendly, though the hotel could use some updating. My bedroom felt dated, but it was clean and comfortable.

The view is amazing, and the service was very good. The place is old but very clean. It might be nice in high season. Breakfast was good, though modest.

The view across Lake Thun, with the Niesen right in the middle, is really beautiful. We had a nice three-day stay in the Jungfrau Area. Our host was very welcoming, and the simple breakfast was enough to get us started. The hotel is a little outdated, but in a nice old family-chalet kind of way, and it's quiet and peaceful. The only downsides were the Wi-Fi coverage, which didn't reach our room, and the lack of bug screens on the windows for airing the room since there's no A/C. For the price, though, it was awesome!

The employees are kind, and the prices aren't too high. The Swiss dishes are tasty and healthy. From the terrace, you get a nice view of Thun and its lake, just as the name Bellevue suggests in French.
