Hof Dietrich

Hof Dietrich was just what we hoped for when looking for a genuine Swiss farm. The Dietrich family were genuinely lovely, and although there are farm animals, everything was tidy and clean. Our upstairs room was large, with really comfortable beds, and had modern touches like TV and WiFi. They’d also thought of plenty for children, including games, books and puzzles, plus information about local hikes. Outside, there’s a little play area with a trampoline, swing and slide. Breakfast was delicious, and the price felt very reasonable. Switzerland is easy to get around by public transport, though having a car or arriving by taxi might be better here. We’d love to come back. Thank you, Family Dietrich!

The views from the alpine lodge were lovely, and the food was delicious. It’s a beautiful, welcoming spot to unwind, enjoy Swiss culture and have some fun. The Dietrich family were warm, kind and very accommodating. The animals were adorable too, especially the two sweet guard dogs and the cuddly cats. Thank you!

After a short hike to the Rosenberg ruins, we were glad to soak in the hot tub, which had already been warmed for us. Köbi and his family made us feel completely at home and looked after us so well. The farm itself is simple and practical, but their hospitality more than made up for that. Raclette was a perfect end to a really lovely day. Thanks so much for the experience.

The service was so welcoming, and the accommodation was excellent. I’d highly recommend it.
