The staff were especially polite, and the room was clean and warm in winter. It was small, though, and there wasn’t a hairdryer in the room. Still, it was a good stay overall.

The manager and the rest of the staff were lovely and so helpful. My check-in got pushed back to 4:00 pm, but that was no big deal. Everything about the place felt like a movie, from the beautiful region and scenery to the hotel’s classical feel and the lovely people. It was the happiest stop on my trip around Europe. I’d come again. Strongly recommended +++++

The food was wonderful. Service was OK, though the staff could smile more and show they enjoy the work. They do a great job, and just need a supervisor to give them some encouragement.

The handmade dough and fresh ingredients made these pizzas absolutely gorgeous. We ate here this evening and loved them. Our waitress was very pleasant, and I’d highly recommend the place.

The owner was quite helpful with directions, and you can relax by visiting the river behind the place and enjoying the view. There’s beautiful landscape all around, and it’s quite close to aare gorge. The village is small, parking is free, and the room was great. Staff were very nice, the restaurant downstairs served good food, and breakfast was good too.
