Down Town Hostel Interlaken

I arrived really late, almost 10:30 pm, and the staff had sent me codes for the main door and bedroom, plus an envelope with instructions for checking in by myself. That was a really nice touch. The room was spacious and had its own balcony, and the hostel was spotless. The huge kitchen had everything for cooking and a big fridge for everyone. One of the best hostels I've stayed in, and there's nothing I can complain about. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit!

The toilet was on another level. There was an Indian restaurant downstairs, and the curry smell was very strong. The room was noisy, the water was very cold, the bed was too soft, and the pillow wasn't comfortable. I'd pay extra for a better apartment.

The host was quick to respond and easy to reach. Apartment no.42 was clean and had space for five people, with two bedrooms, three beds in each, a kitchen for cooking, a bathroom, a separate toilet, a dining room, and a living room. There was also a washing machine and dryer on the fourth floor. It’s about 10 meters from Interlaken West train station, with high-speed Wi-Fi and a large Migros supermarket across the street.

The staff were welcoming and quick to respond, and the apartment was spacious, tidy, and in an incredible location. The bathroom was a little cold, though, since there’s no heater in it. Taking a shower in cold weather was quite hard. Apart from that, I recommend this place. 👌🏻
