We loved staying at "Cà Vegia" and would happily return. It’s set in Golino, where the evening sun still lights up the village after other towns have fallen into mountain shadow. The Maggia Valley, Centovalli, Lake Maggiore, Locarno, Ascona, and several fantastic climbing areas are all easy to reach. The house is an old Ticino building, lovingly kept and furnished with style. Our cozy room was spotless, and breakfast was plentiful beside the fireplace, served with a friendly touch. Our hosts, who speak German, also gave us excellent restaurant suggestions and tips for beautiful hikes.

Mr. Fusetti is a delightful person and always ready to help with information. The hotel is lovely, tucked away in a quiet village, and everything was immaculately clean and tidy. Our room was very nice and clean too, and breakfast was excellent, 10+. We’ll definitely be back.

The mattresses left us a bit stiff, as they were somewhat uncomfortable. Still, this was a delightful little guesthouse, with a lovely room and charming decor. The host was incredibly friendly and attentive.

We stayed three nights and were greeted so warmly by the wonderful host. The hotel is beautiful and ideally placed for visiting the Verzasca, Onsernone, and Maggia valleys. Breakfast was good, and parking was free. I highly recommend Ca Vegia.
