Lake Lodge Hostel

We really enjoyed our time in the AVRAMCHENKO apartment. It was clean, roomy, and comfortable, with lots of space for our little ones, and had everything we needed. The balcony view was beautiful and the place was wonderfully quiet. Reception was kind and helpful, and the underground parking and convenient lift were a big plus. It’s close to the lake, about 15 minutes from interlaken and near several attractions. There’s also a good grocery store nearby.

I stayed in October 2025 and would happily come back. I booked a private room with a shared bathroom, and the view was perfect. The famous Crash landing on you spot is only about a five minute walk away.

I can’t speak to the beds or service, but I was shocked by what happened when we needed a restroom. The public toilets in the square only took cash, not credit cards. We asked if our 9-year-old could use the hotel restroom on the way, and they said no and directed us back to the square toilets. If those toilets had accepted cards, I wouldn’t have minded. It was really disappointing and felt completely inhumane.

The lake view was the highlight of my stay at Lake Lodge. If you pick a lake-view room, you wake up to a stunning sight right outside the window. My room was on the small side and I’d chosen a shared bathroom, but everything was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the utensils, there was plenty of free parking, and the staff were genuinely welcoming and friendly. A cozy place by the lake.
