Hotel Wasserfall

The food was great, and the chef came over at the end of service to ask what we thought, which feels pretty rare these days. We were welcomed so warmly, and the front desk kindly upgraded us to a very special, extremely clean room. Try the restaurant. I'd really recommend staying here and enjoying this beautiful part of Switzerland!

There was no one at reception when we arrived, hardly anybody around, and we had to get in using a code. The room was as described below. The price doesn't match the service at all. Very disappointing, and I won't book here again.

The wooden interior felt cozy, the beds were comfortable, and there was Swiss-made aroma soap, a clean toilet, blinds on every window, and a drying rack. The view was the cherry on top. A couple of drawbacks, though: there was no fridge, I couldn't connect an HDMI cable, and the upper and lower lights couldn't be controlled separately. Staying in a hotel is always hard for me. There's usually something not clean enough, bedding that's poor quality, dirty or too few towels. Finding a black hair is a nightmare. I always have to work at making my family feel safe and comfortable, but this time I didn't. We loved the place. It wasn't crowded, and it felt like staying at home with your family taking care of everything. Thanks to the hotel team for making us feel the vibe. You're truly unique!

The room was immaculate and looked brand new, and the bed was comfortable. I just wish they'd given us a room with a view of something other than an alcove, especially when only two or three rooms seemed occupied in the whole hotel. Still, it was a very nice place. The water from the well in the parking lot was delicious and cool. The little town is beautiful, the hotel is across the street from a waterfall, and there are lovely mountain views all around. There isn't much food available in the area during the off season, and even the hotel restaurant was closed. The breakfast, though, was amazing, with lots of choices: eggs, breakfast meats, fruit, bread, cheese, yogurt, and more. It was delicious.
