The flies were everywhere, in our room and in the restaurant. It was only 15 C outside, so I can only imagine how bad it gets when it’s warmer. The bed creaked whenever I moved and didn’t feel very stable, and the staff weren’t friendly. Breakfast was served from 8 to 10 am, but by 9:05 there were no eggs or croissants left. We got the last 2 of each at 9:00. A few minutes later, another guest asked for more croissants and was told they needed to bake them. We’d asked about the mystery game a few hours before dinner and were just told we should’ve asked earlier. There was no flexibility at all. Dinner was great, which is the only reason I’m giving 3 stars. I hope this review encourages them to give future guests better service.

The food was amazing, and the service was adorable. They even arranged a special birthday decoration on the dessert for my partner. The staff seemed a little stressed with so many guests, but they were still super friendly. Our room was spacious and very simple, with loads of wood, which we love. We were there for a short holiday and celebrated my partner’s birthday with a snow shoe “adventure”. There are a few very nice, scenic trails in the area. We’ll definitely consider going again.

The hotel’s close to the train station, but at least in our room, we heard no noise and slept peacefully. Check-in was quick, the rooms were clean, and breakfast was excellent. The staff were super friendly, and dinner in the hotel restaurant was delicious. Thanks for your hospitality!
