Facing a valley full of mountains, this is a classy place without feeling pretentious. The rooms are smart, and both the service and food are very good. It works well as a base for walks, hikes, and cable car trips.

David checked me in and was kind, welcoming, and attentive. The room was clean, and breakfast was lovely, especially the fresh kiwis and croissants that were flaky outside and soft inside. The women serving breakfast were friendly, attentive, and very good with guests. After 16 days in Switzerland, staying somewhere different every night, this was easily my favorite property so far. The sauna, hot tub, and relaxation facilities were just what I needed for the soreness from my Via Alpina hike. It’s an 8 minute walk from the bus station in Adelboden, or two stops by bus. I’d happily recommend staying here. Thanks for a wonderful stay on August 31st, 2024.

I chose this hotel because of its good reviews and emailed to ask about availability for two nights. They said there were no rooms. Later that day I found availability on booking.com and booked there, but got a rude reply saying I couldn’t arrive late and that booking through another platform after contacting them directly wasn’t acceptable. I cancelled and chose somewhere else. I wanted a relaxed weekend, not an argument with a grumpy owner. I wouldn’t bother with this place.
