I was unsure about the shared bathroom at first, especially since my husband had already chosen this place and I expected the worst. Turns out it was exceptionally clean, five stars for cleanliness. They also cleaned our room while we were out for the day. The owners were friendly and got breakfast ready early every morning. There’s a restaurant on the ground floor, and a cable car right next to the place with skiing and other activities. It was wonderful to stay somewhere away from the busy, touristy area. This is the only hotel with cozy rooms, and I’d highly recommend it.

We got an amazing price for a family room with half board and a ski pass. The food was excellent, and the service friendly and helpful. It’s a basic hotel that’s great value, with separate toilets and showers that were clean and had plenty of hot water. Just don’t expect modern or fancy rooms.

It’s budget-friendly, neat and clean, with big rooms and lovely views. The owners and staff are very nice, and the gondola right there is what makes the location so appealing. You can literally ski into your room. There are no amenities, not even shampoo, so bring your own. The shower faucet could be better if you choose a room with its own toilet and shower. I almost ended up with a shared one instead :/

A great spot for getting out of the city and sleeping in fresh country air. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly. The cable car to Melchsee and other places is just across the street.

The afternoon sun on the terrace was lovely, and the service was quick. I really liked the veal steak with mushroom sauce. The staff were friendly, though they seemed a bit overwhelmed.
