The room was modern and cosy, and the staff were friendly. The kitchen was okay. Recently renovated, the hotel sits at the entrance to Klosters, with buses to Gotschna and Marisa mountains right outside. Good for families with young kids, especially ages 3-10, with a playroom and other facilities for them.

Families have plenty to do here: mini golf, a little farm, three play areas, bowling, and a great indoor pool with a kids' pool. They also provide water toys, a nice extra. Dinner was excellent, with generous portions and a plentiful soup and salad bar. The hotel is warm and spotless, and the care put into the renovation is easy to see. It has modern charm while keeping its classic Swiss feel. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and the staff at reception and in the restaurant were helpful, polite, and full of useful information. It's a fairly large property, with several buildings linked by nicely decorated tunnels. We'd absolutely recommend it and will be back. It's a 3 star hotel with 5 star service and amenities.

The children's facilities and playgrounds were some of the best I've seen, though the indoor ones were dirty. The rooms themselves aren't safe or suitable for kids under 2-3. My son could probably fit through the gaps in the balcony railing and fall. We booked the top room option during low season, at one of the highest prices in Switzerland. For that price, I'd expect a much better breakfast buffet than the one costing $17.5. There was almost nothing to choose from. We ate there, then went elsewhere for breakfast again an hour later. I've never had such a poor breakfast, especially in one of the most expensive rooms I've paid for. The cleaning wasn't close to the standard either. The hotel is a labyrinth. Getting to our room meant taking a sideways staircase, an elevator, then another half flight of stairs. The whole trip with luggage made arriving and leaving unpleasant. Given the limited time we had for vacation, I usually sort places from most expensive to cheapest to find the best option, but the value here was hilarious. It definitely doesn't live up to the standard.

If you're travelling with kids, this is a great choice in beautiful Klosters, even though it's not very close to the town centre. There's a lot for them to do: mini golf, indoor pools for adults and children, a little farm, bowling lanes, a baby playground, and a toddler indoor spielplatz. The rooms are spacious, refurbished, and clean, and the food was good. Everyone was friendly too. Madrisa lifts are just a few minutes' drive away. I'd definitely recommend it!
