Silvretta Park-Hotel

The hotel has a lot of potential, but it feels like it’s being kept afloat to make money without investment in improvements. The billiards table is a disgrace, only suitable for little kids, who keep breaking it anyway. The hotel seems too cheap to replace it or set rules for keeping it in good shape. The jacuzzi is more like an ice tub, as if they're saving money everywhere. There’s no TV in the lounge to watch the Olympics, unlike at other hotels that know what they’re doing. They just don’t know how to run a hotel properly. Disappointing!

Set in central Klosters Platz, Silvretta Parkhotel is a spacious alpine hotel with classic wood-paneled interiors and elegant shared areas. It combines traditional Swiss hospitality with modern comforts and generous amenities. Its charm and professional service make it a recognizable, dependable choice in the region, suited to couples looking for romance as well as families wanting convenience.

We weren't guests at this hotel, but ate at its restaurant twice while staying in Klosters, and we're still talking about the food now that we're home. The chef clearly has real skill, and the cooking set a high standard for fine dining. The dishes looked beautiful and tasted wonderful. The waiter and waitress were professional, welcoming, and helpful when we chose food and wine. Even the owner came by to check that we were happy, which showed how much he cares about guests. We felt lucky to find the restaurant after being disappointed by the dinner at the hotel where we were staying.

We only ate at the restaurant, which was open to the public on New Year's Day. The service was great and communicative, and the draft beer tasted really good. The soup was fabulous, but that was the only food highlight. The fish and chips seemed fried in old oil and didn't seem fresh. The spaghetti was overcooked, with an average sauce. Maybe we were unlucky, but food isn't this place's strong point.
