The room was comfortable, though the hotel sits on what seems to be the main road through this sleepy hamlet, so there was some noise. The church bells chimed every fifteen minutes through the night, which was disappointing. We’re halfway through a six-day bike trip, and the woman who welcomed us has been the friendliest and most helpful hotel employee we’ve met so far. Her restaurant suggestions were much appreciated.

We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Bären while hiking nearby. Its central location was handy, and the rooms were very well kept. The bathroom was especially clean, which was a nice surprise. Some staff came across as a little unfriendly, though a young woman was a kind exception.

The owner and staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived until we left, and the service was excellent. In central Lachen, the location is great. The rooms have a classic look and were very clean. Highly recommended 😊

I was only there for one night, so I can't claim to know the place very well. The room was quite spacious and clean, and it was quiet enough to get a proper night's sleep. Breakfast was more than satisfactory.

I happened to arrive at this Hotel with my colleague Rico! The staff were super friendly, and the food was five-star. I'd go back just for the chicken. Greetings to your Staff.
