What stood out most was how welcoming everyone was, especially the owner, who was kind and helpful throughout. The location is peaceful and beautiful, with far fewer tourists than many nearby spots, though the walk to Gusthaf zur Linde is quite long. My room was a comfortable size and well maintained. Bathrooms are shared, but there was a clean, tidy one on every floor, and that never caused a problem. I also appreciated the water fountains outside for filling bottles before heading out. Dinner was fairly basic, while breakfast was good and offered a nice range of choices, though it could feel repetitive over several days.

The burger was one of the best we've ever eaten, and the raclette was delicious too. We had a great time here, with warm hospitality, a very clean space, lovely music, and beautiful design. Highly recommended.

We chose the Rösti zur Linde for dinner at Zur Linde, and it was the best rösti we've ever had. This was proper farmer-style rösti, not the tourist version you get in Interlaken, Grindelwald, or Lauterbrunnen. The staff member who served us was so friendly, quick, and clearly passionate about the food and her business. She was the kindest person we've met in the region this week. We'll be back as soon as we can, and we won't forget how good it was. We'll spread the word and hope lots of locals and tourists find the place. Huge compliment!

We left feeling very full. The salads alongside the two fitness choices, a burger and pork schnitzel, had a lot of balsamic vinegar, and the Linde Rösti was covered in raclette cheese. I had hoped for a crisp, crackly edge on the rösti. The presentation looked nice. Service seemed a little slow, though it might also have been the staff giving people time to eat, chat, and relax after the meal. We stopped in after leaving Lauterbrunnen, which was too crowded with tourists for a Saturday lunch, and found this place by searching for a nearby restaurant rated over four stars.
