The food and service are amazing. Great spot.

We had a lovely family meal 🙂🙂🙂🙂. The setting is magnificent, and the staff were so kind, welcoming, and attentive. The homemade seasonal food was good, from the simple but delicious little appetizers to the game, which was expertly cooked, and desserts that somehow got better with each one. My one suggestion would be to have a dish suitable for small children. Bravo for giving us such a great time, and thank you.

The six-course gourmet menu was a real highlight, a feast for the senses that we felt deserved a Michelin star. We also ate at the restaurant on two other evenings, and each freshly made dish looked wonderful and tasted delicious. Our four nights at Auberge du Prévoux went by far too quickly. The Marchand family took such loving care of us, and every detail made us feel at ease. A short break can feel like a two-week holiday when you're looked after like that. We're very grateful and will definitely be back. 🤗 We stayed in the modern, tastefully furnished superior room, ‘Marjolaine.’ The bed was comfortable, and the peaceful setting meant we slept well. We especially liked having a small minibar just outside the room, where we made ourselves fresh coffee each morning. Though there are only three rooms, breakfast each day was a lovingly prepared buffet of natural, mostly local products. The egg dishes made to order were a daily highlight. The little hotel is run by the Marchand family and sits in an idyllic spot just outside Le Locle, surrounded by nature. From the moment we arrived, our hostess made us feel welcome and cared for. Her husband, a passionate chef and natural host, added to the warm atmosphere.

We couldn't sample the restaurant because it was closed on Sunday, but the reviews make the food sound delicious, so that's a good reason to return. We stopped at this hostel on our motorcycle road trip and got such a warm welcome. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive.
