Castel Club Leysin Parc Resort

I came out from Lausanne hoping to enjoy the Swiss scenery, but ended up with a dated, basic room. My balcony looked onto a small football field, residential buildings, and a train station instead of the views I expected. The partial outdoor view was also cut off by the parking lot and other guests' balconies, so there was little privacy and hardly any use for my own balcony. Staff said a room change wasn’t possible when I asked. Check the room details carefully before booking if you want to avoid a disappointment.

We had work and an exam to get through during the stay, so stable internet mattered. The receptionist was very pleasant and helped place us in one of the apartments with Wi-Fi. We had an awesome, lovely stay, and got to walk around the area and take a chilled break.

Spent two nights in the 2BR over the weekend and couldn’t be happier. It has incredible views, was clean and comfortable, and had everything equipped. The rustic chalet feel was lovely, and the bar was fun too. We were welcomed so warmly. We’ll be back, hopefully in summer.

The basics are simple, but it’s comfortable, very clean, and the balcony view is amazing. My husband, our six-year-old, our two-year-old, and I stayed here, and the staff were all helpful. There’s covered parking, a nice playground up the street, a lovely bakery nearby, and a good supermarket about a 10-minute walk away. We found plenty to do in the area, the boys were never bored. Great location too.
