Dorint Resort & Spa Locarno Riazzino

We had a lovely dinner, everything was delicious, and the service was excellent. The hotel restaurant and bar are nice to have, and breakfast was fresh with plenty to choose from and fantastic service. A big thank you to the kitchen staff! The rooms are so stylish and cozy, with wonderful beds and thoughtful details everywhere. My family and I really enjoy staying here. The spa is another treat, with an outdoor jacuzzi, two saunas, a hammam, and a relaxing area stocked with herbal tea, water, and fruit. There’s also an outdoor pool in warm weather. The location works so well for exploring the region. The hotel provides a free canton ticket, and the station is only a two-minute walk away. I worried the trains might be bothersome on our first visit, but they’re quiet and the sound insulation is excellent. Thanks to all the staff for making the stay so comfortable and welcoming. We always enjoy coming for a mini getaway, and I’m already looking forward to the next one.

The team were warm and welcoming throughout, and breakfast was very good, with a nice range of local products and good quality. Check-in and check-out were both smooth, and the location is handy for getting around the Ticino region. The hotel has everything needed for a comfortable stay. I’d gladly come back and recommend it. Thanks to the whole team!

The rest of the stay was very good, and the kids' playground was a plus. But we booked half board and found the dinner menu for guests with reservations extremely limited, with almost no choice beyond two options. We paid a very high price for a limited menu, and honestly the food wasn’t very tasty.

The location made getting around easy, with Locarno 15 minutes away by train and Lugano 25 minutes away. Breakfast was gorgeous, and the outdoor area on the first floor was really nice. I loved how calm and comfortable the room felt. It suited the building's architecture and style perfectly, was well climatized, and had a warm, inviting feel while still being professional and suitable for business. Dorint's interior architecture also creates a real sense of well-being. The people at reception and in the restaurant were genuinely happy to help and serve guests. Even though I made a booking mistake at the restaurant, they kindly let it go. One of the very best hospitality experiences I’ve had.
