The rooms are great and have everything we needed, though they might get a little warm in summer. Breakfast is included, which is awesome for the price. Everything worked as expected, like the youth hostels of the same chain in other locations. I met three receptionists during my stay, all extremely friendly and kind. They arranged a room for me to have an online meeting, and I felt lucky and really appreciated being here that day instead of somewhere else.

I stayed for one night, and my room hadn't been disinfected. Insect bites kept itching all night, and I didn't sleep at all. By the next day I had bite marks on my hands, neck and other parts of my body. I fell ill on my way back to the US that same day. When I emailed the hostel management, they showed no empathy for what I'd been through. They simply said they had found vermin, but gave no further response.

The heat is the main issue. At 30°C outside, it was still 25°C in the room with the windows open, and there was no cooling. The only fan was far from the window, and staff left the blinds open during the day. In cooler weather it might be fine, and there are plenty of amenities, but I wouldn’t stay here when it’s hot.

The bed was comfortable for a hostel, and the place was clean. Breakfast was decent too. But I barely slept: people slammed doors, shouted, jumped around so the whole dorm shook, and played loud party music from 2:30 to 4 a.m. It started up again at 7, then the music school began classes around 8:30. For about the same price, I’d rather have booked an entire Airbnb. I was glad to leave after just two sleepless nights.
