The views from my room were breathtaking, and the Volg supermarket diagonally opposite had plenty of inexpensive things, including German beer and Swiss chocolates. The food was good, though I wasn't completely satisfied, and the TV had only a few channels. I still felt the hotel was worth it and would give it 9/10.

The room was very dirty and worn, and I even found someone else's underwear under the bed. The hotel is dated and part of a wall was literally coming apart. It was also extremely hot, with two radiators so hot you could cook an egg on them and no way to switch them off. Dinner was awful, they somehow managed to mess up minute rice and pasta. Staff wanted the room keys when guests went out for the day, so keep your valuables with you. They seemed to know little English and no German. I don't understand the three-star rating. I suspect the high score comes from fake Google accounts and lots of Indian guests saying it's “just like home.” I hate seeing a Swiss hotel run by a bunch of Indians. Avoid it.

The rooms aren't good, and the floors aren't all connected to the lifts, so you have to carry heavy luggage, which is a punishment. The employees' attitude was the worst part and left me sorry I'd stayed, even though the hotel is managed by Indians. The food was another terrible part: breakfast was very bad, and the dinner buffet was horrific, with the same stale dishes sometimes overcooked. Please avoid this place.

This is a very poor lodge, not a hotel. The rooms are cramped, they fine you for everything, and the staff are rude. They serve just one set of food all the time, and it isn't proper Indian food. I think Indian travel companies book it for commission, since no one would book directly. It feels like an old Indian lodge from the 1980s with a restaurant. The owners still seem to think India is a poor, cheap country. Please visit India now and see its standards, quality, and service, then you'll understand how cheap these people are. The food is cheap and the management is awful. If your tour operator books it, refuse at any cost. They keep to the schedule, but don't provide service. Worst place to stay.
