The school across the street rings its bells every 15 minutes, around the clock, and that was the one downside. Otherwise, the rooms were good, the owner was on site, and the neighborhood was quiet, with an easy walk to the bus or train.

We enjoyed the veranda view from this large, comfortable house. It’s not far from Interlaken Ost.

A kind host, great views, and a central location made this a great place to stay.

This lovely two-story Airbnb apartment has everything you need, and the owners are super nice. There are four rooms, eight beds, and two bathrooms. It’s on the second and third floors, five minutes on foot from the nearest Coop grocery store and ten minutes from the river area and train station. We had a car, but the nearest grocery store is still only a five-minute walk away, and the station is ten minutes on foot. My mother has knee problems, but thankfully she managed in the apartment by staying on the second floor and not going up to the third. I recommend it for families, and we hope to visit again.

The hostess was so kind and pleasant, and everything was wonderful. The house had all we needed for a relaxing stay, including a kitchen equipped for cooking.
