We left after one night, even though we’d booked two. Getting some sleep and peace of mind mattered more than staying. The room was cramped, the ceiling had water stains, and after flushing the toilet, neither the sink nor shower would run. A mouse got into our belongings overnight. Building security was laughable, too. We raised the problems with staff and got no response to our requests. We also filed a complaint and started an investigation with booking.com, which felt like a waste of time and money. The bar downstairs was pretty good, though there was a fight on the night we were there. It’s a long 15-minute walk from either train station. There are much better places to stay in Interlaken, so I’d strongly suggest avoiding this one. If the owner sees this, please reply on WhatsApp to our messages about the water, mice, and unsanitary conditions.

The hot showers and excellent WiFi were welcome, and it was cheap. That’s about where the positives ended. The room felt like a camp bed in the boot room of a 1970s East German ski lodge. Honestly, my garden shed would be more comfortable and attractive. I never saw the mouse other reviews mentioned, but something made my bin rustle during the night. It stopped as soon as I turned on the light. If you can pay for somewhere better, do that. If the choice is this or the street, this will do.

The mountain view was good, and the room itself was alright. The service fell short, though. Water in the washroom kept cutting out, and the WiFi was slow.

Good location, but the lights went out and there was no customer service. Calls kept getting disconnected. Worst place. Never book here, even if it’s free.

There was moldy food under the bed, and bed bugs in all the beds. Everyone got bitten. When we told management, they said they wouldn’t do anything and that we could contact the authorities if we wanted. Don’t stay here at all.
