Walters Hostel Interlaken

We got a free visitor's card from the host, which let us travel around Interlaken for free during our 3-day stay. The hostel is also an easy 15-minute walk from Interlaken Ost station and the city center, with a bus station conveniently nearby. Our room was spacious and spotless, with fresh sheets and towels. The shared bathroom was roomy and just as clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed, from a microwave and utensils to a fridge. A great budget-friendly option that doesn’t skimp on quality or service.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, though basic, and had everything I needed for a pleasant stay. I also liked the well-equipped shared kitchen, where it was easy to meet other travelers. The staff were welcoming and around to offer advice or arrange excursions, and the friendly hostel atmosphere made a good impression. The location is ideal for exploring the Swiss Alps, with mountain views and outdoor activities nearby, including hiking, paragliding, and water sports. Noise from nearby groups could sometimes be disturbing because the rooms aren’t well soundproofed, but it didn’t spoil my stay. I highly recommend it for exploring the area at a reasonable price.

The room was clean and spacious, with a nice view from the window. The bathroom and toilet are shared. Staff were pleasant and very helpful, and the price was very reasonable. I’d stay there again if I return to Interlaken.

The walk from walters hostel to Interlaken station takes about 10 minutes, and the whole way has beautiful mountain views. The location is quiet, clean, and peaceful. Walters Hostel has huge private rooms, plus very spacious shared bathrooms and a shared kitchen. Marcel is a really friendly host. It’s an excellent spot within walking distance of Interlaken ost station, and a very good option for staying in Interlaken.
