Hotel Hirschen am See

There are six private parking spaces and thirteen public ones, and private boat slips right by the inn. Upstairs, Gasthof Hirschen has three bright, welcoming dining rooms with a country feel. From the covered terrace and pergola, you get lovely views of the lake and surrounding mountains.

We held our family celebration here and it turned out better than we could have imagined. We love this place: the location is fantastic, the food is great, and the service is excellent. Thank you, ‚Team Hirschen‘!

We’ve brought our kids here, and it’s also lovely for a romantic dinner. There’s a children’s menu, and the service is friendly and professional without feeling stuffy. The setting is what keeps bringing me back. Hirschen am See sits right on the water, with its own marina and beautiful lake views. It has traditional charm with a modern touch, and that classy but relaxed feel. It’s hands down my favourite lakeside restaurant in the region. The food is excellent. They prepare the steak tartare at your table just the way you like it, and the Wiener Schnitzel is perfectly done. I also like the seasonal section alongside the classics. It feels thoughtful, and shows care for quality and local ingredients. An absolute treat every time!

Michael was so patient with our multilingual family and the kids. The food was fantastic, too. We had dinner on a rainy day, but the enclosed balcony kept our dining area dry when the sun came out. The clear tenting kept the bugs out while still giving us a great view.
