Victoria - Alpine Boutique Hotel & Fine Dining

Dinner was tasty and had some interesting dishes, and everyone working there, including the owners, was friendly and helpful. Our room had a lovely waterfall view and stayed quiet even though the train station is nearby. Everything about the stay felt perfect.

Dinner on the terrace was a highlight. There was shade from a big tree, and the food was delicious and unusual. We still talk about the duck liver appetizer. The breakfast buffet was high quality too. Our room was very clean and comfortable, though a little tight with all our luggage. When we needed help arranging luggage transport, the owner found a good solution that saved us a lot of money and hassle. Everyone gave us exceptional service. We highly recommend Victoria Hotel.

Meiringen made a great base for touring around Switzerland, and the Victoria is centrally placed for restaurants, local attractions, and the train station. We were three, traveling with our teen, and the room was spacious enough; the staff had also made up the sofa bed. The lobby and room felt warm and inviting, and breakfast was fresh and healthy, with eggs cooked to order before checkout. It was a wonderful stay as part of our Switzerland trip.

We spent five nights here on a family ski trip, and the vegetarian meals were well catered for and delicious. The hotel is finished to a very high standard, and the service was impeccable. The staff were courteous and went out of their way to make the stay special. I loved our time at Victoria Meiringen, and we'll definitely come back for another visit soon.
