Seerose Resort & Spa

The views were spectacular, like being inside a beautiful painting, and the food was amazing in both the Thai Restaurant and Beach Bar, with great quality, portions, and value. We also enjoyed the very good breakfast, excellent spa facilities, and very good massages. The whirlpool was worth the extra 20 CHF per person for the whole stay. We stopped for two nights to relax on our drive to Italy. There were a few things that made our stay disappointing. The hotel was advertised as air conditioned, but there was no AC, and in the heat we couldn't sleep properly. The bedside control panel stayed lit all night, and touching it by accident could turn on the lights and wake everyone. We had to cover it with a towel to get some sleep. Our room looked out onto a solid wall, which was a letdown when the area around you is so beautiful. Be sure to ask about the view from your room. Also, the breakfast items had no English labels.

The location is beautiful, and the spa was fantastic, with a wonderful massage. Everyone on staff was super friendly. The restaurant was very nice, although a bit too slow. We'll definitely go back and are looking forward to it :)

The staff were kind and attentive throughout, and reception was especially helpful. They even called another town to check the timing of an event and confirm it for us by email. They also offered to watch our eldest while I took our youngest to the loo, which left a good impression on our children. When it was time to leave, they gave us time to pack without making us feel rushed. We stayed over Christmas 2024. It's a beautiful resort in an excellent spot by a lake and hills, with lots of room options and amenities for adults and children. There were wonderful food choices, from Swiss breakfast options to vibrant Thai food in a lovely setting. My wife had a massage and treatment and was full of praise for the masseuse. All in all, this should be a 5 star establishment. We'll definitely be back. Thanks again.

The hotel has a beautiful, clean look and really great design. I felt calm as soon as I arrived, and the staff were notably kind and welcoming. Parking outside is free, or you can choose underground parking for 15 CHF. The mattress was much too soft for me, and sound insulation wasn't great. We could hear people in the corridor and our neighbors. The breakfast room is small. Its spectacular decor can make it feel cramped. Amenities could be a little more generous too: body lotion and soap are provided, but the amounts may feel stingy. You can get an iron on request. The gym is fairly small, with a limited range of machines that may not suit everyone looking for a good workout.
