Dinner was some of the best food we had on our trip. The family-run hotel and restaurant were lovely, and our room was comfortable. We stayed here while hiking the Via Alpina. Highly recommend!

The river sounds sent us off to sleep after a very welcoming first night on the Bia Alpina. We had a comfortable bed, a hot shower and good food. Breakfast was great too, with fresh bread, fruit, cereal, cheese and cold meats.

The drive in at Christmas, with the road cleared of snow and running beside the river through the narrow mountain gorge, was breathtaking. We highly recommend the hotel and the area. The village is at the end of the valley, with no stores, so bring extra soap and provisions from town if you're staying here as a base for hiking or skiing. Breakfast was excellent, and there was a fresh home-cooked dinner menu every night. After dinner, a walk around the village was nice.

We set off for the Batoni waterfall at 15h, and the kind woman working at reception still agreed to make us dinner even though the kitchen was closed. She left it in our room, and it was sooo delicious. So kind of her. Definitely recommend, Liuba, Lika

The hotel was very nice and the food was good, but I saw a local drunk beat a little kitten so badly that it flew against a wall. He's a regular there, and the owners just let him have his way. I will never book a room there again.
