Hotel Morgana

Room 300 may be uncomfortable for anyone taller than 6 feet because of its height and layout, and that should be explained ahead of time. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good water pressure. From the second day, the morning reception and breakfast staff were attentive and polite, which we appreciated. But we reported problems on our first day and nothing was done. The shower holder was broken, so I had to hold the shower head in one hand while washing with the other. Worse, the room door wouldn’t lock from either side. You could simply push it open, which was a serious safety concern. We weren’t offered another room or any other solution. Those maintenance and safety issues had a major effect on our stay, and the situation could have been handled much better.

Our rooms at Hotel Morgana were clean and comfortable, and Foxtown is very close. Late check-in was a bit of a hassle since we hadn’t told them in advance, but it’s no problem if you share your arrival time beforehand. The cute, cozy breakfast was a lovely start to the morning. We’d definitely stay again.

The room was on the small side, but clean and functional. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly.

There’s no elevator, so we had to carry our luggage up two floors ourselves. When we arrived, reception was closed and we had no idea how to get into our rooms. Another family and we were left standing in the street with all our bags in the heat, unsure what to do. The rooms are modern but small, and the air conditioning is very poor. We found mosquitoes and bugs in the rooms and reception/lobby, and something bit my cheek. Service was bad, breakfast had no variety, and the place needs better cleanliness, service, and comfort. They should spray for bugs too.
