6/10
The staff were really friendly and efficient, and the setting is peaceful, with lovely views. The old monastery has been beautifully restored, keeping some historical charm while adding a few modern comforts. The rooms are very basic and not especially comfortable. Wi-Fi is terribly bad, especially in the rooms, so it’s a poor fit for a business stay. Depending on your taste, it could work for a short getaway or a partial disconnect.

8/10
The rooms and restaurant were all very clean, and my room was quite spacious with its own bathroom. I found the staff who welcomed me particularly kind. It costs less than the other hotel in the same area, and the location is out in the countryside, far enough from the city to feel removed but still close enough to get there quickly.

The patchy network coverage and jerky Wi-Fi make this a poor choice for company meetings if you need to stay connected. But it’s a great spot to switch off and focus.

The hosts were attentive, and breakfast was wonderful. It’s a charming, peaceful hotel in a beautiful, blessed landscape. Highly recommended.

The staff are friendly and the breakfast selection is good. It’s a lovely place in a historic building that’s been renovated.
