Mercure Geneva Airport

The hotel is well ventilated and in an awesome location, with great service and hospitality. Mumu, the bar manager, really knows her craft. She connects with people and has a magical knack for making special custom cocktails on demand. The good staff make this a great hotel. I’d love to come back soon 🙏

The hotel is well placed and easy to reach by train, which is really practical for day trips to the city center and other parts of Geneva. The rooms are spacious, clean and well insulated, with no outside noise. I didn’t like the open closet, it made me anxious, and it’s a shame there’s no mini fridge. I was cold most of the time because of the green energy setup and the fixed temperature controlled centrally. It feels like a big joke. They should offer portable electric heaters for sensitive guests like me. I was glad I’d packed warm socks and a cashmere pullover. By the third day I was wearing them after sleepless nights with cold feet and cold temperatures in the room. Breakfast could have more, like fish, sweet snacks, cinnamon rolls or different kinds of bread. Housekeeping is very limited. Rooms aren’t cleaned on weekends, seriously? I’d leave at 11 a.m. and come back at 3 p.m. or even 5 p.m. to find my room still not cleaned. They said they start with checkout rooms, but I was already there and just wanted my room freshened up. I was on holiday to relax and enjoy myself, not to adjust and save energy or workers’ costs. The shower pressure was so low that washing my hair was horrible and took lots of patience and time. These are things the hotel could adjust to make guests more comfortable. The workers seem to try their best, but they’re limited by the hotel’s rules.

This is my favourite hotel when I travel to Satigny for work. The rooms are roomy and comfortable, and breakfast is great, with everything from sceabled eggs and bacon to French pastries, freshly backed bread, fruit, yogurt, crepes and more. The location is perfect, right in front of the train station for trips downtown. Public transport is included in any hotel in Geneva.

The room was quiet even though it was near the elevator. Staff were extremely friendly and let me check out late when a business meeting ran longer than expected. They also gave me access to high-speed WiFi without me asking. The hotel provides a free airport shuttle.
