We loved the calm feel of the house and grounds, with their real nineteenth-century charm. The views are fantastic, the staff are very friendly, and parking was easy. Breakfast was great, with lovely local produce and no single-use plastics. We also splurged on the gourmet dinner menu, which was fantastic. It’s good value by Swiss standards, too. The bathrooms could use some attention, though it didn’t bother us much. A great spot for couples for a night or two, or just to eat at the resto. You’ll ideally want a car to get up here.

A real gem in Monthey. The rooms are roomy, cosy, and unlike the usual. We found the place truly memorable.
