Breakfast was a really nice, filling meal, and I enjoyed spending time with the charming hosts. They kindly switched to French when they realized my Swiss German was limited. The room was very spacious. If I’m in Thurgau again, I’ll remember this place.

Breakfast was plentiful and set us up well for the rest of our pilgrimage. The hosts joined us, and we had lovely conversations about the region and its people. They’re a charming couple, and it was nice that breakfast time could be arranged around our wishes. We slept well in the quiet, spacious, clean and comfortable ground-floor rooms, which have their own entrance. The house has a large, well-kept garden and sits in a small community. It’s within walking distance of both the town center and train station. A pity we only had one day there.

We had a very spacious room and a delicious breakfast, with a really friendly couple hosting us. It’s a great starting point for exploring St. Gallen, Thurgau, and Zurich.
