The owner wasn’t especially friendly, and the payment equipment didn’t work properly. The place itself is small but adequate.

We booked four rooms, and none of the sinks or showers drained properly. The rooms weren’t functional, and the staff were cold, unpleasant, and downright rude. Breakfast was completely wrapped in cellophane, and staff weren’t around during our stay. Payment was required on arrival, there was no pool, and the price was exorbitant for what was offered. Avoid!

We were welcomed warmly, and the hotel itself feels warm too. The breakfast, though, was “catastrophic.” In a Valais village I expected local products, but there wasn’t any cheese apart from processed cheese slices. A real shame. No fruit juice either, and the eggs were cooked the day before and served cold.

We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, where the server was lovely and the meat cooked on the slate was excellent. The price felt reasonable for the room and the setting. We were slightly late for check-in, but reception handled it without any problem, and the staff were friendly.
