We’re light sleepers, and the church bells kept us awake all night. Otherwise, everything was great. We couldn’t find any cutlery, so we had to stir our coffee with a knife.

The room was spotless, and the bed felt like a fluffy cloud. The host communicated really well. It’s easy to find and very central, right at the bottom of the Chateu, yet quiet. Lovely place to stay, and I can’t wait to go back.

For the price, the service offered is very appealing. The building is beautiful and the room was large, with a great location. I’ll definitely book here again next time I’m in Neuchâtel.

There are 70 steps up to our room, which is tiny and dirty. The service is nonexistent. The website says there’s daily housekeeping, but there isn’t. Pigeon feathers are on the windowsills.
