Lovely place and a nice house, with a friendly owner. Good for families.

The cottage itself was beautiful, clean, and tastefully furnished. We had the garden to ourselves, with a great view, and the setting was very quiet. They also left us a welcome gift of wine and spaghetti. The welcome was effusive and friendly, but later that evening we politely asked for more toilet paper. Only one roll is supplied and guests have to buy the rest, which we hadn’t known. The next day the landlady was rude and made sarcastic, snide remarks that felt completely out of line. After that, the owners spoke to us only when necessary. We felt we were merely being tolerated. What a shame, nobody needs that on vacation. We’re a quiet, considerate family, and until now our experiences with holiday rental owners have all been positive. Looking through these Google reviews, I realized at least four seem to have been written by the owners or their relatives. Make of that what you will...

We had an excellent welcome. The house was clean and tidy, and it’s a beautiful place. Nothing to complain about.
