From check-in through checkout, the service was wonderful. The staff were warm, courteous, and always willing to help. The restaurant food was amazingly good, and breakfast was hearty too. Excellent stay at Hotel Arte Olten. Highly recommended!

The reception and bar staff were amazing with my dog after I asked to move here from their sister hotel nearby. They put a bed and bowl in the room for him. The woman from the bar who spoke Spanish, I think her name was Sonia, was especially lovely to him. Abi, I think that was the young man's name in the breakfast room, has almost perfect English. He should be on reception! 😉 Great service.

I was visiting family over Christmas and, as usual, stayed at hotel Arte. It’s a lovely place, with efficient, friendly staff and good coffee.

Olten is a great base for travelling around Switzerland, and getting to the hotel from the station is easy through the underpass. We booked a dinner, bed and breakfast package and were impressed by the restaurant food. Everyone on staff was friendly and spoke very good English.

We wouldn’t stay here again. We were moved to this hotel at very short notice, then waited 20 minutes at reception to check in, even after asking two people twice for help. Our junior suite had a balcony with rusty railings, crumpled fake grass that I tripped over, and a worn, faded table and chairs. The bedroom carpet had dents and the floor was very uneven. A bar directly below us stayed noisy until midnight, and with no air conditioning we had to leave the window open. Nearby construction woke us with loud bangs at 5:30 a.m.
