Hotel Olten Swiss Quality

I spend a lot of time in hotels for work, around 100 different ones a year across Europe, and this place deserves at least four stars in my view. The rooms are lovely, the hotel is spotless, and the staff are very professional. My only complaint is its three-star rating. Highly recommend.

My elderly parents were traveling internationally on their own, and the hotel receptionist treated them terribly. They had clearly booked arrival early on the 19th, after 3 a.m., and departure around midday that same day. When the hotel called me during booking, I checked the dates and times again with the person taking the reservation. It was the same receptionist who later insisted they'd booked for the 20th, scolded my parents for arriving a day early, and called them liars and fakes. 😡😡😡 This was my second bad experience. A few months earlier, a receptionist had been very rude when I tried to book a room by phone. How does this hotel let someone so rude work there? The staff seem untrained and have no manners. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

My first stay at hotel Olten, and I thought it was an exceptional choice.

I was there for a two-day seminar, so I can only speak to the meeting room and restaurant. The food was great. The room for meetings was simple and clean, and the staff were efficient and professional.
